Real-time Video and Audio Capture
The Planet eStream Application controls the real-time capturing of video and audio content to the central, searchable Planet eStream Server.
The user can select from any live video or audio source available to the encoding station. These would typically include:
- A freeview receiver
- A satellite receiver
- A video cassette recorder
- A DVD player
- A video camera / closed circuit TV feed
The captured content is described by the user, making the recording easy to
retrieve with a standard web-browser by searching the Planet
eStream Website.
The Recording and broadcasting of live audio/video can also be scheduled to take place while the encoding station is unattended.
In addition to recording from a live source, existing digital media can be Converted using the Planet eStream Application.
